The European Union has established an ambitious framework for sustainable finance, including transparency obligations for financial products under the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation.

SUSTAINABILITY-RELATED DISCLOSURES.
SFDR defines transparency rules for financial market participants and helps investors understand how sustainability risks and characteristics are integrated at product level.
SFDR / Article 6
Products under Article 6 integrate sustainability risks into the investment process and disclose how these risks may be considered in investment decisions.
SFDR / Article 8
- May promote environmental or social characteristics using sustainable factors and ESG ratings.
- May commit to a minimum share of sustainable investments with environmental or social objectives.
- May take into consideration Principal Adverse Impact indicators.
SFDR / Article 9
Article 9 products have a sustainable investment objective and are expected to have high exposure to sustainable investments, subject to good governance and do-no-significant-harm principles.
